About The Event
On 7th November 2024, students from Classes 9A and 9B embarked on an educational visit to the Anna Centenary Library, Kotturpuram, as part of a symposium on “Eco-sensitive Areas: Ennore and Dahanu, Maharashtra,” organized by ‘THE SCHOOL,’ Thazhampur.
The students—Rishendrasiva, Pranani, Pragati, Sricharan, Kanisha, and Ezhilvizhi—were tasked with researching these areas, focusing on the pollution caused by thermal stations and exploring solutions to mitigate environmental damage. At the library, they identified and utilized a variety of resources from different departments to gather information, taking detailed notes for their articles on the topic.
This visit provided a valuable opportunity for the students to enhance their research skills while deepening their understanding of environmental issues. Their efforts contributed to the creation of insightful articles for the symposium, reflecting their commitment to both learning and environmental awareness.
