About The Event
The Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration at our school was a vibrant and meaningful event, thoughtfully designed to introduce the significance of this festival to our young students from Classes 1 to 4. The program began with a brief narration about the birth of Lord Vinayaka, who is revered as the remover of obstacles. Next, students from Classes 5 to 8 performed a lively folk song, “Appam Murukku Vadai.” The highlight of the day was a play performed by the talented students of Class VII. The play depicted the popular mythological story of how Lord Ganesha taught a valuable lesson to Chandra, the Moon God, who was proud of his beauty and grace. The celebration concluded with a serene and devotional Ganapathy Pooja, where students from the primary classes gathered to sing hymns in praise of Lord Vinayaka. The Vinayagar Chaturthi celebration was a beautiful blend of culture, learning, and spirituality.
