Central Chennai Bharat Scouts and guides conducted Patrol Leader training camp from 31st January 2024 to 3rd February 2024 at Stanely park, State training Centre, Coonoor, Ooty. From our school 8 scouts and 3 guides from classes 7,8 & 9 attended the camp

The students got trained in various areas like patrol system, wood craft sign, origin of scouting, patrol flag, patrol program and record, patrol outing and hiking, patrol-in-council, court-of-honour and qualities of leader.

They also visited Madras Regiment centre-Museum, Tea factory, Trekking to the shooting spot and pine tree forest. This training camp enriched their scouting knowledge, building teamwork, encouraged connections with nature, life skills in the outdoors units and also promoted adaptability.
