On 21st August 2024, AMM school hosted a significant event, the ‘Precise Energy Quiz,’ organized by the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre in collaboration with the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. This quiz was specifically designed for students of classes 11 and 12 from the science stream, aiming to foster a deeper understanding of energy concepts and their applications. The quiz was conducted between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, witnessing enthusiastic participation from our students. The event tested the knowledge and critical thinking abilities of the participants, focusing on precise and in-depth questions related to Physical science and Math. Visit by the Director of Russian Centre of Science and Culture: Adding a special dimension to the event, the Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture Mr. Alexander graced the occasion with his presence. During his visit, he interacted with the students, sharing insights about the various activities conducted by the Russian Centre. He emphasized the growing importance of science and technology in today’s world and encouraged the students to pursue excellence in these fields. The quiz results were based on the marks obtained by the students, and the top five performers were selected for the next stage of the competition. These selected students will be representing our school in the Stage 2 exams, scheduled to take place on 4th September , 2024
