A CBSE workshop on “Life Skills (Basic)” was conducted on 10 September 2026 at SAN Academy. The workshop focused on the 10 core life skills and their importance in helping students deal effectively with real-life situations beyond the school environment.
The session emphasised that life skills cannot be taught merely through theoretical explanations; they need to be developed through practical experiences and active participation. Activities such as role play and chart making provided opportunities to understand and apply these skills in meaningful situations.
The workshop also highlighted how teachers can integrate at least one life skill into regular subject teaching. Participants were guided to identify suitable life skills within their lessons and incorporate them through appropriate classroom activities.
