From the 26th to the 28th of September 2024, a group of 9th-grade students embarked on an educational trip to Pollachi, Valparai, and Parambikulam. The primary focus of the trip was to immerse the students in the natural beauty and geography of these regions, exploring the mountains, hills, and the unique nature of the forests. During the trip, students learned about the organization of the mountains and how the geography of the area influences the local ecosystem. The visit to the forests provided them with an opportunity to witness the rich biodiversity firsthand, and the explanations about the elephants were especially fascinating to the students. This experience allowed them to deepen their understanding of wildlife and forest conservation. The trip was not only educational but also offered the students a chance to appreciate the natural environment and the importance of preserving it for future generations.
