About The Event
As part of the Value Education program, the Class IX students visited Sree Arunodhayam, a home for orphaned special children, on 2nd December 2024. The visit was organized to foster empathy and encourage social responsibility among students.
Although the students were unable to interact directly with the children, they had a productive session with the institution’s administrative officer. The officer provided an in-depth overview of the organization’s mission, the care provided to the children, and the challenges faced in managing their special needs.
The students also contributed by donating essential items, including groceries, clothes, and stationery, as a token of their support for the children. These items were handed over to the administrative team, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the thoughtful gesture. This visit offered a meaningful learning experience for the students, helping them understand the significance of compassion, inclusion, and collective efforts to support the less privileged in society
