About AMM School

Historical Background

In order to give expression to the noble ideas of Dewan Bahadur AM Murugappa Chettiar, his three sons, AMM Murugappa Chettiar, AMM Vellayan Chettiar and AMM Arunachalam Chettiar formed the AMM Charities Trust with a vision to improve Educational and Health care services. In 1953 AMM Charities was renamed as AMM Foundation, A CSR arm of Murugappa Group of Companies. The foundation is committed towards providing invaluable education and health care to the less privileged through its four schools, polytechnic college, five hospitals and various community initiatives. These institutions and projects have raised the bar and set new benchmarks in the arena of healthcare and education.
