The Canara bank Quiz fest was held on the 22nd of November at the Canara Bank Circle office. Over 29 esteemed educational institutions across Chennai participated in the quiz. Harshad. R and Chaitanya. R of class 10 participated and won the second place. They were awarded with a trophy and cash prize of Seven thousand five hundred Rupees.

Prachodya 2023 Inter School quiz competition was held at AMM School on the 28th of October from 8.30 am onwards. Over 13 Schools participated in this prestigious event. A total of 414 students from schools across Chennai participated enthusiastically. The quiz was conducted in six levels for classes 1 to 12. The quiz was conducted in two rounds. The first round was the Preliminary and later on the finals. The winners were awarded cycle coupons, books, trophy’s and certificates. Bhavans Rajaji Vidyashram Kilpauk were the overall champions with 49 points.

The Eureka Science Quiz was conducted on the 22nd of September by the CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research at the Taramani Campus. Three of AMM students participated and won the first place of a trophy and cash prize of 4,000 each. The winners were Aryan Ghosh, N.B.Kishore and A. Ashwanth of class XI. The winners were felicitated on the 3rd of October in the CSIR campus.

The Galaxy Science quiz was conducted by the Rotary club of Chennai at Kamarajar Arangam on the 31st of August. Over 129 schools with a total of 1121 students participated in the quiz. Aryan Ghosh, N.B. Kishore and Ashwanth of class XI bagged the 5th place. The winners received inverters, headphones and speakers as gift.
The U Genius General Awareness quiz was organized by the Union Bank of India. The quiz was conducted on the 25th of August at Rajah Annamalai Mandram for schools in Chennai and Puducherry. Over 400 schools participated with 750 teams. Aryan Ghosh and Harshad. R were the city level winners. They will participate in the National level finals to be held in Mumbai.

The MADRAS DAY Quiz was held at the MMA Auditorium on the 20th of August. It was an open quiz for all categories. Harshad. R of class X and Mithilesh. S of class VI participated as a team and stood first in the students category as top scoring team. There were gifted with bags and gift hampers.

Inter House Quiz Competition finals for level 1 (classes I & II ) and level 2 (classes III & IV ) was held on 07.07.2023.
The certificates for the winners were distributed during the school assembly on 03.08.2023 for level 1 (classes 1 & 2 ) and 17.08.2023 for level 2 (classes 3 & 4 ) by the primary co-ordinator.

The Synergy Cultural Fest was held at APL Global School on the 2nd of August. The Quiz up competition was conducted for classes 9 to 12. Two of our students participated and won the second prize. The winners were Aryan Ghosh of class XI and Chaitanya of class X.

The Inter Quiz competition for the year 2023 – 24 was held at our school. The Preliminary round was held on June 23rd for classes I to XII as six levels. The toppers from each class one from each house were selected. The selected children were trained for the finals. A total of 114 students were trained for the finals. The finals were held on 7th July at various venues. The competition was conducted through power point presentations. The winners of the finals are as follows:

The All India Footprint film festival was conducted by UNICEF at the IGNCA auditorium in New Delhi on 1st July 2023. The films/podcasts of Ruthvika V, Aryan Ghosh, Harini Pritiyanhira of Class XI and Aswath B, Sidarth Arun, Chaitanya and Harshad R of Class X were seven of the 65 films screened in the festival. Films/podcasts of Ruthivika V, Aryan Ghosh and Harini Pritiyanhira went on to the final 19 films.

Ashwath B. and Sidarth Arun of Class X who attended the Film festival in Delhi got the prizes on behalf of Ruthvika and Aryan Ghosh. They also participated in the on the spot quiz competition and won the first place.
Ashwanth S. of Class XI won a participation certificate in the on the spot one minute video making competition titled “I am unique”.
