The much awaited school Carnival- Utopia was organised on 26th November,2022. The main objective of the carnival was to provide an opportunity for the students and parents to spend time together. Our school carnival was also hosted for a special purpose to raise funds and support the needy. Food stalls , Games and Film shows, Art and Craft stalls, Tambola, Karaoke, Live band, Toy Train and Jumping castle were the great sources of entertainment for the children. Several safety measures were planned to ensure the safety of the children and the visitors . The students had a fun filled day away from their routine academic schedule.

On 25th November 2022, Twelve Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the drawing competition on the Topic “Ocean pollution or Marine diversity”, conducted by St. Mary's Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Our students participated enthusiastically and won laurels at various levels. Manha Jasmine of Class VI won the first prize at Level 1 category and Vibiksha of Class VI won the second prize. Manivarun of Class VII won the first prize under Level 2 category. It was a great learning experience for the students as they shared and learnt ideas on controlling oceanic pollution.

This programme was conducted on 24.11.2022 by class 11 and 12 students in association with finscholarz and Inner wheel to financially empower working women to make use of the services offered by the government. Training sessions were conducted to equip the children in assisting the working women to comply with the formalities of opening a bank account.
A total of 73 accounts were opened with the Punjab National Bank. Inner wheel sponsored the premium for the insurance policy for all the beneficiaries. Our students helped in filling up the application forms. As rightly named, Project Lakshmi attempts to empower women with a financial freedom.

The Inter-House dance competition for Class IV was held on 22nd November 2022. Participants from four houses were dressed according to the folk dances of various states of India. Bharathi house won first place, Nehru house bagged second place and Gandhi house was placed third.

Prachodya’22, An Inter- School Quiz competition was organized by AMM School, Chennai on 19 November, 2022. For the first time the quiz masters for level 1 to level 4 were the young vibrant students of the school. Thirteen prestigious schools from around the city participated in the event. The competition had six levels which were open to classes 1 to 12. After the preliminary round, the best six teams were selected for the finals.
The finalists were awarded trophies, certificates and books. In addition to the above, the first prize winner of each level received a coupon of Rs. 5000/- from TI Cycles. Overall, the Inter-school Quiz Competition, Prachodya’22 was a huge triumph where all the students left the premises with a beaming smile.

On 7th November 2022, Sri Sankara Vidyashramam Higher Secondary School, Chennai conducted a Tamil Poetry competition on the topic “Traditional Tamil Poems”. 14 Students from various schools participated in the event and Dharani of Class VIII won the second prize and appreciation from the judges.
