To enhance the memory skills of the students, thirukural recitation competition was conducted by the department of Tamil for the students of Classes V to XII on 12th January 2023. The students participated enthusiastically, recited with proper pronunciation and prizes were given those who scored first three places.

On 11th January 2023, a career guidance programme was conducted for the Commerce students of classes XI & XII by Mr. Palanichamy of Bharadwaj Institute. He spoke about the various career options available for the students and especially focused on Professional courses like CA, CMA and CS. He also spoke on the various branches of B.Com. The students were encouraged to manage their time effectively and work hard so that they can pursue Professional courses and shine well in their career.

CPR Environmental Education Centre has been celebrating Millets Year - 2023. In order to spread awareness about the uses and benefits of including millets in the diet, the organisation had conducted an essay writing competition on the topic ' Health Benefits of Millets' on January 10, 2023. The event was held at CPR Environmental Education Centre, Alwarpet. Four students from our school participated in the competition. It proved to be an enriching and rewarding experience for the children.

The Murugappa Inter School Quiz Competition was organized by the AMM Foundation. The competition was held on 6th of January 2023 at the auditorium of the Sir Ramaswami Mudaliar Higher Secodary School, Ambattur. Five schools of AMM foundation participated in the competition. Our school children secured the second place in finals.
