The culmination for Bunny Club took place on Wednesday, 18-10-2023. The students recited their bunny rhyme and the motto. They displayed The art and craft they had made for the first term and demonstrated how to make a sundal, which was their cooking without fire activity.
Heritage club is a platform for students who are curious and passionate in knowing the past. Beyond classroom learning the club offers opportunities to explore, understand and document the history of various localities, cultural traditions and so on. Heritage club culmination was held on 18th October Wednesday, children of class 2,3,4and 5 took part in the culmination, they explained about three important monuments. They gave details about ST. Thomas Mount, Vivekananda Temple and Kapileswara Temple. Children also displayed their collages made during the heritage club.
Silambam Club is a platform for students who are curious to learn Silambam. Practicing Silambam activates the left and right brain’s coordination, which helps many students to come out of their stress and helps them understand better with more gain in motor skills.
Students who practice Silambam as a Martial Art has increased concentration level which results in good academic progress. Silambam club culmination was held on 20th October Friday children of class 2,3,4and 5 took part in the culmination, and they explained about the importance and history of Silambam. They showcased a few things that they learned in the club.
The Handwork Club culmination took place on Friday, 20-10-2023. The purpose of this club is to encourage creative expression, create artwork around campus, allow students to discover new crafts and bring together a group of like-minded people.
The students displayed The art and craft items like clay modelling, stone art, blow painting, printing that they had made for the first term and demonstrated how to make a paper bag and a paper flower making
World students day celebration was done by few students in the assembly. Dr. A P. J Abdhul Kalam 's birthday is celebrated as World Students Day on October 15th. Children gave a short speech about his specialty and reason why he is an inspiration to all students , about the objective and theme of this celebration. The theme is F.A. I. L means First Attempt In Learning.
The sixth consecutive AMM Family Walkathon was held on the 23rd of September2023, in commemoration of the World Elders day celebration.
The event’s motto “Be active, be healthy, Zero carbon and donate organs” aims at creating awareness on environmental issues and bringing together the members of the community promoting a cause.
The chief guest Mr. Hanifa National race walker champion flagged off the event from the school premises in the early hours amidst the Correspondent Ms. Meyyamai Venkatachalam. Ms. Lakshmi Headmistress SRM School Ambattur, Ms. Mahalakshmi Principal AMM School and Mr. Dushyanthan Vice Principal AMM School, parents, grandparents and students.
About 1200 participants geared up for the Walkathon as early as 5.30 am. The chief guest addressed the gathering after which he flagged off the Walkathon. After a short warm up session and briefing about the route, participants commenced the walk in the pre-designated routes.
Four refreshment points enroot provided the walkers with refreshments.
Following the full walk around the designated routes, back in the campus, participants enjoyed a short yoga session after light refreshments and were addressed by Dr. Arun KumarCardiologist.
For the last several years, the school has been in the fore-front initiating activities towards promoting a healthy life style and environmental consciousness.
Extra efforts have been taken to have a total ban on plastics in the campus as a part of its “Go Green Initiative”. This event is just a step forward in creating and sustaining a healthy world at large.
The Kindergarteners of AMM SCHOOL celebrated Field day with grandparents on the 15th of September 2023. We began the beautiful tradition of celebrating the adorable bond between grandparents and grandchildren by having a "Field day" where even the grandparents participate along with their grandchildren.
The LKG children performed Navrang - a colourful drill with rainbow coloured pom poms. UKG drill was the "Ring of fire" with flaming hula hoops. This was followed by the Theme Races and the grandparents race. Prizes were distributed for all races and the chief guest addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of taking care of elders. It was a fantastic morning filled with fun, love and happy memories.
The 36th Annual Day event was held on 28.07.2023 at Anna Centenary Library Auditorium for classes 5 to 12. The event began at 4.30 pm with the felicitation of the chief guest Mrs. Uma Sivaraman. Our beloved Principal delivered the school annual report.
For the first the time the management had decided to honour their staff who had completed more than 10 years of service and counting, for their untiring service in the institution. It was followed by the cultural events by the students. The welcome dance named Pushpanjali. Followed by the Western song country roads by class 5. An English play on Snow white and the seven entrepreneurs was enjoyed and watched by the audience . Later a rendition by class 5 on the song one way ticket which was enjoyed by all age groups.
A unique subject was chosen as a topic for the Tamil play “சமதர்ம ஞானி” which brought the divinity of the saint's life.
There was a peppy song by students of French and the Hindi department.
For the first time a detective novel by Agatha Christie "Murder on orient express" was depicted very well by students of classes 9-12 which was the icing on the cake.
A musical instrument concert followed by the folk dances of India was the grand finale
All the students participated enthusiastically under the able guidance of the Management, Principal, Vice Principal, Staffs and the support from parents and guardians. It was another proud moment for all to show case the students talent to all.
On June 24, 2022 the students of classes 5 to 12 took part in the Inter House culturals competition. The students were divided into groups according to their houses and trained for a week. Gandhi , Tagore, Bharathi and Nehru. Each house presented their unique dance performances, captivating the audience and setting the tone for the rest of the event.
The judges of the event were Mrs. V. Subbalakshmi and Mr. S. Parthasarathy for group song, Ms. S. Nakshathra and Ms. Pon Selvarasi for Dumb charades, Mr. Sojan Mathew and Mr. George Jacob Kaipallil for Drama, Ms. Srimathy, Mr. Mohan and Mr. Hari Prasadh for Adaptune and Group dance followed by the judges for the off-stage events Mrs. Uma Krishnan, Ms. Pankaja, Ms. Kamakshi Ganapathy, Ms. Lakshmi, Mr. B. Senthilkumar. The winner was Bharathi house for music, Tagore house for drama, Tagore house for dumbcharades and Nehru house for Adaptune.
On 21.6.2023 our school organized a Massive Yoga session that promotes physical, mental and spiritual well being of individuals. Under the guidance and supervision of physical educational teachers, students demonstrated Yoga.

STD V to XII – Basket Ball Court and Main Block Quadrangle.
The World Music Day was also honored by playing instrumental music in the background during yoga demonstration.
