The CBSE South Zone Chess Tournament was held from 13th to 15th September 2024 at the Amalorpavam Lourds Academy in Puducherry. Organized by CBSE, the event saw an impressive participation of young chess enthusiasts from various schools across the region, all competing to showcase their strategic skills and intellectual prowess on the chessboard. The competition featured two main categories: Under-17 and Under-14, with several students from different schools participating. Representing their schools with determination and focus, the participants gave it their all during the intense three-day event. Although our students did not secure top ranks, they displayed exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Participants from Our School: Under-17 Category: 1.
