On 16.08.2024(Friday), a lively track and field event was held at Nehru Stadium, with
students divided into four houses as Tagore, Nehru, Gandhi, and Bharathi competing for
the top honors. The event began with an energetic display of each house
proudly showcasing their colors and spirit. The students were divided into categories
such as Sub-junior, Junior , Senior and Super seniors. The venue of the event was a
well-equipped facility with a standard track and field setup, seating for spectators, and
areas designated for different athletic activities. The event began from morning to late
afternoon, allowing athletes ample time to compete across all scheduled activities. The
event featured various athletic contests, including sprints, long-distance running and
relays. The students strived hard, earning valuable points for their house. The
competition was intense, with every house contributing their best efforts across all
events. Medals and certificates were awarded to the top performers. The event
concluded with a closing ceremony, where the principal commended all participants for
their dedication and enthusiasm.
