It was a pleasant Sunday morning with cool weather, 15 Students of class 8 (accompanied by a teacher) enthusiastically participated in the event “Universal design and Accessibility walk” conducted by Vidhya Sagar school, on Sunday 7th January. We started from school by 6:45 am. Students walked with the disabled from the Museum of possibilities to Marina beach. After that students visited the museum of possibilities and learnt a lot about the universal design. Children saw the furnitures , kitchen, toilet,games , books etc designed for the disabled in the museum .There were volunteers and lecturers to give explanation. Students learning outcomes were first they realized being healthy and abled and how gifted they were. The sympathy and empathy for others were developed in them.
