34th Annual Sports Day
AMM School celebrated its 34th Annual Sports Day and our nation's 69th Republic Day. Our Alumnus, Mr. Rohit Nathan Rajagopal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Railways, Chennai was the Chief Guest of the Day.
On this momentous occasion, Mr. Rohit Nathan is hoisting our National Flag to pay tributes to the soldiers and people who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.

It is the Zumba with elastic band performance by the students of Class VII and VIII. This energetic performance - Increases physical strength and lean muscle mass, Enhances posture, Improves the mental health and mood and so on to live longer and healthier life. Indeed, that was the social message given by our students.
That was the memorable moment where our Parents and Alumni participated actively in the various games conducted on the day.
The children of Class V and VI exhibited their performance in Saree Drill which made the audience spell bound to view beautiful formations and vibrant steps filled them with thrill and vitality.
Special Prize for students who represented in different sports at State-level in 2018 were honored with cash reward of Rs. 2000/- each. K.Sharan of Class VIII - In Athletics - Sprinter, Medhya of Class VIII in Fencing, Jadon Moses of Class IX in Rowing, Sadhana Fenelon of Class VII in Badminton, Anuvarshini of Class VII in Chess and Haripreethi of Class XII in Boxing are their achievements.
The children won Individual Championships that was conducted at YMCA on July 2018 under the categories Sub-Junior, Junior, Senior and Super-Senior levels.
The Runner-up for Overall Championship won by the Tagore House.

The Chief guest addressing the gathering. He highlighted the audience with his enriching thoughts. He advised the students to take up the responsibility wherever they are and perform the duty to the fullest by embracing each and every moment of what we really do.
