32nd Annual Day Celebration
32nd Annual Day was celebrated on 15th July, 2017. Ms Maya Sivaramakrishnam, Principal of National Public School was the Chief Guest of the day. Ms. Mahalakshmi Ramalingam, Principal presented the Annual Report of the academic year 2016-17.
The School Magazine "VISTAS" - a literary chronicle of the child's creative and imaginative writing prowess was released by the Chief Guest.
The Annual Day is an occasion to acclaim the achievements of students and applaud their win. The students who have attained excellence in academic and co-curricular spheres in 2016-17 were honoured with mementos and certificates.
Students of Class V led to the audience into a world of nature and its panorama. The song called the audience to join hands and collectively save nature, as our very existence in under serious threat today.
"Little Women", a classic drama by Loiusa May was reworked and re-scripted to suit the school motto of providing a huge platform for maximum participation. The play was enacted by the students of Classes VII to IX.
Students of Class VI sang a song in Sanskrit and spread the message of goodness and simple living. It also emphasized the teaching of Gandhiji to see, think and do only good.
Students of Class IX and XI enacted a few incidents and anecdotes in the lives of Samayakuravargal (Naalvar), the great poets who wrote in praise of Lord Shiva and guided us on the path to elevating oneself with the Supreme Power.
