Inter House Drama Competition
Drama takes the stress out of learning situations, particulary for children who might not be confident learners. To enhance students' communication skill, Inter-House Drama Competition was held on 9th February, 2018 for Classes I - IV.
Students acted for Folk Tales of different countries namely Japan, Russia, China and Tanzania. Students from Gandhi House enacted a Russian folk tale "Sea King". They brought the story to life before the eyes of the audience.
"The Man Who Would Not Scold" - this was the folk tale from China, enacted by the students of Nehru House. The participants of the play were able to convey the story without the audience reading the script.
Tagore House students acted for a folk tale "Calabash Seed" from Tanzania. This competition gave them the opportunity to extend their interest in drama beyond their classrooms.
